PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod having a demountably mounted balancer sufficiently regulating the fishing rod balance and without causing slackness or falling off, or the like, during operation even in the case of a fishing rod having a small diameter. SOLUTION: This fishing rod is provided with a gripping member 2 mounted in the shaft direction on the rear end side of a rod tube 1a.
