<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure contact joint structure, capable of easily and integrally connecting a plurality of wires, to provide a wire harness using the pressure contact joint structure and to provide a pressure contact joint method. <P>SOLUTION: A pressure contact terminal 20 is press-contacted on an end part 11a of the plurality of wires 11, and fitted into a groove 31 provided in an outer surface 30a of a cone 30A. By pressing an annular member 40A of a same shape as a cross section of the cone 30A from a tip side to a base side of the cone 30A, the pressure contact terminal 20 is prevented from slipping off the groove 31 as well as made conductive, allowing the plurality of wires 11 to be easily and integrally connected. Since the wires 11 are press-contacted without removing coating, a time required for the work is reduced. The cone 30A can be a circular cone, a pyramid, a circular truncated cone, or a truncated pyramid, and the shape of the annular member 40A can be a circular or a polygon, accordingly. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
