BLOW-MOLDING METHOD AND APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a surface quality and inner soundness of a blow-molded article. SOLUTION: The blow-molding method comprises the steps of arranging mold segments approximately facing to each other and the other mold segments, arranging a parison between the mold segments approximately facing to each other and advancing the mold segments approximately facing to each other and the other mold segment. The other mold segment advances to get into contact with at least one of the mold segments facing to each other and another mold segment other than the above other mold segment. The process of arranging the mold segments includes the steps of arranging a first pair of the mold segments facing to each other, mounting a second pair of the mold segments on one of the first pair of the mold segments and mounting a third pair of the mold segments on the other mold segment of the first pair.
