<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell estimation method and a fuel cell estimation device capable of nondestructively estimating characteristics and performance of a fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell 1 generating power by fuel gas and oxidant gas comprises a fuel gas supply part B1 supplying the fuel gas; an oxidant gas supplying part B3 supplying the oxidant gas; a detector 27 detecting a power generation amount of the fuel cell 1; detour passages 32, 34 capable of connecting gas supply ports 1g, 1j, with gas exhaustion ports 1h, 1j of the fuel cell 1, respectively; three-way valves TW1, TW2, TW3, TW4 switching gas passages among the fuel cell, and the detour passages 32, 34; and a control part (PC) 23 controlling at least one of the three-way valves and replacing the gas in the fuel cell 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
