<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment which transmits/receives pairing information by a sound signal. <P>SOLUTION: This headset device 1 has a DTMF transmitting function for converting a Bluetooth (R) device address into a DTMF signal and outputting it in a form of an acoustic signal by speaker units 11, 12 and a DTMF receiving function for converting the audio signal inputted from a microphone 15 into the Bluetooth device address according to a rule of DTMF and registering it in a Bluetooth protocol stack as communication partner information.
