<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retardation plate causing little changes in the color tone under high temperature and high humidity conditions, and to provide a circularly polarizing plate prepared by laminating a polarizing film on the retardation plate. <P>SOLUTION: A film containing aromatic polyamide having excellent heat resistance and humidity resistance is used for the retardation film of a retardation plate comprising a substrate, an adhesive and a retardation film. The retardation plate is constituted in such a manner that when the plate is stored under the conditions of 80°C and 80% relative humidity for 12 hours, the dimensional change rate of the retardation film before and after storage is≤1% in all directions in the film plane. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
