PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polygon scanner in which there is no degradation of mirror face accuracy at the time of completion of the scanner and which can realize the high accuracy of a jitter property and the reduction of vibration at the time of high-speed rotation with low-cost structure. SOLUTION: In the polygon scanner 1, a bearing housing 10 in which an oilless bearing 12 is incorporated and which has a driving coil 9 fixed at its outer side is made to be a stator part 8 by being fixed to a base board 11 and, moreover, after a rotary shaft 3 and a polygon member 6 are firmly fixed to a flange 5 by force fit or shrinkage fit and thereafter the polygon member 6 is made to be a polygon mirror 6 by applying a mirror finishing to the member 6, a rotor magnet 4 is fixed to the flange 5 by adhesion to form a rotor part 2.
