PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and high efficient continuous packaging machine and packaging method capable of automatically metering magnetic powder by a specified amount and packaging it. SOLUTION: This packaging machine comprises a hopper 8, a metering drum 1, a magnetic member transferring means 5 and a seal device 6. The metering drum 1 comprises a magnet 16 for holding supplied magnetic powder m at a recess 14 on the drum surface, and a shielding plate 18 for replacing the magnetic powder m to the magnetic member transferring means 5. The magnetic member transferring means 5 comprises a first conveyor 3 for holding the magnetic powder m replaced from the metering drum 1 at the lower surface of a first supplied raw material film p and a second conveyor 4 for feeding the magnetic powder m under its held state with a supplied second raw material film q. The seal device 6 is a device for sealing the second raw material film q and the first raw material film p with the magnetic powder m being held between them. The powder supporting means of the first conveyor 3 is either a belt 33 having magnetic characteristic or a magnet 34 arranged at the rear surface of the belt. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
