PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination device having a novel effect of illumination. SOLUTION: Decorative materials 12a and 12b molded of a lenticular sheet 10 are shaped like a semicylinder as a whole, though having indentations partially, and they are laid on each other. The light emitted from LEDs 15 and transmitted through the decorative materials 12a and 12b is varied intricatedly according to a position on the decorative materials 12a and 12b, the position of an observer or others. Thereby an extremely novel and excellent effect of illumination which can not be obtained from conventional lenses such as a knurled lens, is obtained. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
