HEAT-RESISTANT FOAM FLOAT AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

A heat-resistant foam float and its manufacturing method are presently described. Adhustment is made to the content of phenol resin and sulfur component of the composition components of the foam float made of NBR and the treatment conditions, providing a foam float resistant to change of site due to expansion at temperature of 60° C and a foam float that had substantially no liquid permeation even when immersed into a liquid at 150° C or higher for a long time. The heat-resistant foam float comprises a mixture in which curing agent, reinforcing agent, vulcanizer, vulcanization accelerator, emulsifier, foaming agent, foaming aid, etc., are mixed with NBR as a basic substance and wherein the curing agent of the above-mentioned mixture is phenol resin and the amount of said phenol resin is the same as the amount of NBR as a basic substance.
