<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for displaying an image on a PDP to reduce the occurrence of flicker. <P>SOLUTION: Each of a plurality of subfields comprises three consecutive subfield groups (G 1, G 2, and G 3).
