<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a book sales system, which can sell books at a page unit to consumers and reduce operation costs in a system for partial sales of books. <P>SOLUTION: The book sales system for partial sale of books has an information reading means for reading a part of pages of a book as digital information, a price database prestored with a sale price for every page of books, a book specification means for specifying pages for sale in a book, a price acquisition means for acquiring sale prices of pages for sale with referring to the price database, a charging means for payment of sale prices, and an output means for outputting pages for sale based on the digital information read by the information reading means when payment of sale prices is completed by the charging means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
