<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an information processing apparatus which can surely announce the generation of an alarm signal even in the case the alarm signal is generated during the standby operation of a display means. <P>SOLUTION: The information processing apparatus includes the display means which displays various kinds of information, a key input means which accepts the key input from a keyboard etc., a display control means which monitors the key input means and shifts the display means to the standby operation when there is no key input for the specified time and an alarm generating means which generates the alarm signal in association with the function of the apparatus and displays the alarm signal on the display means, wherein the standby operation in the display control means is canceled in case of the generation of the alarm signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
