<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical imaging system relating to real time display of a complex medical image acquired by a medical imaging system. <P>SOLUTION: The medical imaging system (100) includes an image sensor (104) that receives image signals from a region of interest (108), a memory (118) coupled to the image sensor (104), and a processor (120) coupled to the memory (118). The memory (118) stores image data derived from the image signals for first and second sub-regions (110, 111) of the region of interest (108) acquired during a first and second occurrence of a physiologic cycle.
