<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless switch whereby a remote controller remotely controls an existing load to be controlled and remotely monitors an operating state of the load to be controlled by fitting the wireless switch in place of an existing wall switch. <P>SOLUTION: A series circuit comprising an AC power supply 1 and the load 2 to be controlled is connected to two terminals, and a controlled load ON / OFF relay is connected between both the terminals. An AC-DC conversion circuit operated when the relay is turned off is provided in parallel with the relay and an AC-DC conversion circuit operated when the relay is turned on is provided in series with the relay so as to supply a DC power supply for a control circuit even when the relay is turned on or off. The wireless switch includes a wireless transmitter-receiver in addition to the control circuit.
