PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology capable of rapidly and easily removing even a solid content retained in a fiber of a filtration cloth at a low cost. SOLUTION: In the subject filter cloth deposition cake removal method in dehydration using the filter cloth, after a slurry is dehydrated through the filter cloth 9, the cake deposited on the filter cloth 9 is forcedly dried by dried air, or the like. Thereafter, external force is imparted to the filter cloth 9 and the dried cake deposited on the filter cloth, and the dried cake C1 is dropped off from the filter cloth 9.
