PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine in which water and a detergent are saved and washing performance is improved. SOLUTION: A water tub 45 for reserving a washing liquid pumped up by a pump-up means 41 is provided and when a stirring blade 35 is rotated, the washing liquid is supplied to garments in a washing and spinning drying tub 34 from the water tub 45. Thus, not only centrifugal force but also mechanical force made by stirring is applied to the garments having the washing liquid soaked therein to apply rub-washing to the garments having the washing liquid soaked therein, thereby the water and detergent are saved and washing performance is improved.
