PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dissolve adverse effects of a protection fence for use in the baseball or the like on a play by preventing a ball from rebounding in an irregular direction with a dispersed distance. SOLUTION: This protection fence is provided with a stand frame 2 and a square board type cushion pad 3, and the cushion pad 3 is formed with square corner parts 9 between a front part 3a and respective left/right side parts 3c so as to uniformize the cushioning properties in the front part 3a, a central area, and the left/right end areas.
