<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a healthy environment by discharging a substance having an antioxidant effect into the air by a commonly popular air conditioner. <P>SOLUTION: The air conditioner is provided with an indoor unit having a heat exchanger and a blower, and blowing out conditioned air into a room, and a carrier holding a plant extract containing an antioxidant substance with high volatility easily spreading in air in the indoor unit.
