<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce man-hours in production and a cost by reducing the number of components and simplifying a structure, to enable the reduction in size as a whole, and further to improve space-saving properties, flexibility and also freedom in design. <P>SOLUTION: A latching solenoid includes the plunger 3 formed of a permanent magnet M having magnetic poles at both ends 3p and 3q and provided to be capable of displacing in a direction Fs intersecting with the axial direction Fc of a solenoid 2 on the side of one end 2s of the solenoid 2, and a yoke 5 having magnetic poles generated at both ends 5s and 5t by excitation of the solenoid 2, also having two separate magnetic poles 5sp and 5sq at one end 5s, and having the respective magnetic poles 5sp and 5sq provided respectively on sides of both ends 3p and 3q of the plunger 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
