PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multimedia message to a partner by grasping terminal device capability between video image telephone devices and mobile communication terminal devices in a communication network such as the Internet network. SOLUTION: A plurality of the terminal devices are registered into a location information server 109 based on one identification information (ID) of a user who holds various communication means 101-105, so that compatibility is secured between different networks (for example, a PSTN, the Internet network, a mobile communication network) and terminal devices (a PSTN telephone set, the mobile communication terminal device, a PDA, an instant messenger, an video image telephone device and an E-mail). Information of a terminal device of a recipient wherein a user can answer immediately is provided to a transmitting person.
