PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information collection system capable of economically and smoothly collecting observation results of distributed observation devices and to provide an observation result communication terminal used for this information collection system. SOLUTION: A communication processing part 113<SB>1</SB>of a sensor module 103<SB>1</SB>serving as a communication terminal having a measurement apparatus acquires a starting time at which power supply to the communication processing part 113<SB>1</SB>is started next time or afterward from a signal received from a base station during receiving power supply, and the starting time is set in a power supply control part 114<SB>1</SB>. When predetermined processing is completed, the communication processing part 113<SB>1</SB>ends power supply to itself. In the power supply control part 114<SB>1</SB>, when arrival of the starting time is determined according to the time outputted by an electric wave clock 115<SB>1</SB>, power supply from a power supply part 111<SB>1</SB>to the communication processing part 113<SB>1</SB>is started.
