PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal wherein electrical connections between cases is achieved, without causing trouble to downsizing of the mobile terminal so as to handle data with high reliability and wherein the electrical connection parts are made unseen, even in an extended state of the mobile terminal. SOLUTION: The mobile terminal is structured, such that first and second cases 12, 13 are connected in a slidable way to each other to realize the extended state or a contracted state. The first case 12 is provided with a printed circuit board 32 having a conductor pattern 31 which is exposed to the back side. The second case 12 is provided with a terminal 34, that is in conductive contact with the conductor pattern 31 in a slidable way. The mobile terminal is provided with a sheet member 37 for covering the conductor pattern 31 of the first case 12, when the first and second cases 12, 13 are set in the extended state. A winding mechanism 35, for winding the sheet member 37 and housing the wound sheet member into the first case 12, is provided in the first case 12. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
