PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plug with a high voltage and a high capacity in which a plug housing can be made smaller in size than a conventional configuration. SOLUTION: In a plug housing 60, blades 71 to 73 of three poles including an earth electrode are provided protruding on one face. The blades 71 and 72 serving as voltage electrodes have rectangular-shaped sections, respectively, and longitudinal sections are orthogonal to each other. The blade 72 is spaced from the blade 71 widthwise of the section of the blade 71. Also, the blade 73 serving as the earth electrode is spaced from the blade 72 in the widthwise direction of the section of the blade 72, and is situated in the corresponding area between one end apart from the blade 71, out of the both ends of the blade 72 in the longitudinal direction and the blade 71.
