PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movable mirror driving mechanism for preventing a finder image from looking as if it flows by making movable mirror moving speed high even when an expensive and large motor is not used. SOLUTION: The movable mirror driving mechanism is equipped with a movable mirror 20 capable of turning reciprocatingly between a finder observation position and a retreat position, a 1st energizing means 31 energizing the movable mirror 20 toward the retreat position, a 2nd energizing means 35 energizing the movable mirror 20 toward the observation position, retreat position moving mechanisms 17 and 15 allowing the movable mirror 20 to turn to the retreat position by releasing the energizing force of the 1st energizing means 31 and observation position moving mechanisms 13 and 11 allowing the movable mirror 20 to turn to the observation position by releasing the energizing force of the 2nd energizing means 35.
