<p>[PROBLEMS] To provide a method of manufacturing the corrugated plate spring of a thin-plate shape memory alloy by a simple device. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The method for manufacturing the thin-plate shape memory alloy comprises the steps of folding back the shape memory alloy while pressing it against the projected contact surface of a fixed tool to which a plurality of pairs of pressing elements having the projected contact surfaces on both outer sides thereof or piercing a plurality of generally circular holes generally on the centerline of the thin-plate shape memory alloy in the longitudinal direction. While the thin-plate shape memory alloy is bent, a linear body is inserted into the generally circular holes, and while the linear body is tensed, the thin-plate shape memory alloy is pressingly contracted from both ends thereof to form the linear body into a corrugated plate shape. The linear body is fixed in that state and holdingly heated, and then suddenly cooled.</p> |
