<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a color conversion filter for enabling high definition patterning together with simplifying manufacturing steps, and to provide an apparatus used for the method. <P>SOLUTION: This method and apparatus of manufacturing a color conversion filter comprising a step for forming a color filter layer on a transparent substrate, a step of forming a pigment layer containing a color conversion pigment and an optical radical generator on the color filter layer, a step of forming a color conversion layer at a position corresponding to the color filter layer by exposing the pigment layer to light using pigment photolytic light passing through the transparent substrate and the color filter layer and auxiliary ultraviolet light irradiated from the side of pigment layer. and a step of heat-evaporating the optical radical generator, wherein the color conversion pigment is decomposed by light except that having the wavelength transmitting through the color filter layer, the pigment photolytic light contains wavelength components decomposing the color conversion pigment and the color conversion layer irradiates light transmitting through the color filter layer by wavelength distribution conversion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
