<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective case for protecting a portable electronic device against moisture and dust so that the device can be carried anywhere. <P>SOLUTION: This protective case has an upper case and a lower case which, by being abutted against each other, form a closed space in its inside allowing the portable electronic device 100 to be accommodated. A through-hole is formed at a position in at least either of the cases opposite to an operating element of the portable electronic device accommodated in a space. The through-hole is closed by a closing member 167 formed of an elastic material and having a push button 165 capable of pushing the operating element of the portable electronic device from the outside. Furthermore, the abutting portion of each case is sealed with a sealing member formed of an elastic material, whereby moisture and dust are surely prevented from penetrating the inside. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
