<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extract a cell phone unit which a vehicle thief holds and specify the suspect by monitoring the position of a vehicle and the cell phone unit existing around the vehicle and moving along with the vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A cell phone unit sensing system includes a theft sensing device 1 mounted on the vehicle, and sensing a theft of the vehicle, it gives notification of a theft occurrence to the cell phone center 2 and the police 3 and transmits the vehicle position information at regular intervals. The cell phone center 2 having received the notification senses the cell phone unit existing around the vehicle on the basis of the received position information of the vehicle and extracts the cell phone unit moving along with the vehicle in movement.
