PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To be capable of confirming the protruding amount and the protruding direction of a treating tool or the like from an externally mounted channel body when operating an endoscope to which an externally mounted channel is mounted in the body cavity even when enlargement of the diameter of the externally mounted channel body is attempted. SOLUTION: The flexible externally mounted channel 2 which is attachably and detachably disposed in an insertion part provided on the soft type endoscope 1, and which is equipped with the externally mounted channel body 2a and a fixing part 30 which mounts the tip part 32 of the externally mounted channel body 2a to the tip end of the insertion part in a protruded state so as to enable confirming in the observation field of vision of the endoscope, and the endoscope 1 using this are offered.
