PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unit and its method for a data processor. SOLUTION: The data processor includes a function suitable to execute a software virtual machine. The data processor provides a command set to support memory protection at an object level suitable for high speed operations. Memory control logic is provided so as to cope with a structure having less random access memory (RAM) relatively compared with reprogrammable nonvolatile memory and improve access to the reprogrammable nonvolatile memory.
