PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external facing fixture for improving construction efficiency of an external facing material, and to provide a method for constructing the external facing material. SOLUTION: The external facing fixture 10 comprises furring strips 12, a furring strip receiver 14 and a pin member 16. The furring strips 12 include a bottom wall part 18 for attaching the external facing material 100, a pair of opposite wall parts 20 erected on the bottom wall part 18 at an interval, and through hole pairs 22 formed to penetrate the pair of the opposite wall part 20. The furring strips receiver 14 includes a base 26 screwed with bolts with screws 106 protruded on an external wall 102, an advance part 28 advancing between the pair of the opposite wall parts 20 of the furring strips 12 provided on the base 26, and a pin receiving hole 30 provided on the advance part 28. The pin member 16 is inserted in the communicating through hole pairs 22 and the pin receiving hole 30 in the state where the advance part 28 of the furring strips 14 is advanced between the pair of the opposite wall parts 20 of the furring strips 12.
