PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition excellent in abrasion resistance, tensile strength and tearing strength, and a member for preventing the double-feeding of papers and paper-feeding roller consisting of the rubber composition. SOLUTION: This rubber composition contains a rubber containing an olefinic copolymer rubber and no double bonds, a filler containing a metallic ion and methacrylic acid or its ionic compound. A methacrylic acid is partially crosslinked to a main chain of the rubber while ionically bonded to the filler. The rubber compound has≥80 and≤95 Shore A hardness,≥8 Mpa tensile strength and≥10 N/mm tearing strength. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
