PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent water in a sink section from splashing out of the sink section by forming a back board part, at least on a side wall in the near side of the sink section, protruding to the nearer side of the sink section to the direction from the top edge of the side wall to the bottom corner edge, and facilitate manufacture of the sink section and reduce manufacturing cost by enabling manufacture of the sink section by press-drawing work by providing the back board part with a shape protruding to the nearer side of the sink section to the direction from the top edge of the sink section to the bottom corner edge. SOLUTION: The sink for a sink cabinet comprises an open container shaped sink W made of a pressed stainless steel plate and composed of a bottom portion W<SB>1</SB>, a peripheral side wall W<SB>2</SB>and a peripheral flange portion W<SB>3</SB>. The back board part protruding to the nearer side toward the downward direction from the top edge K to the bottom corner edge H of the side wall is formed at least on the near side of the sink section.
