<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition for imparting an optical effect to a keratin fiber, especially hair. <P>SOLUTION: The composition is provided by incorporating (a) at least one fluorescent dyestuff or fluorescent brightening agent, (b) at least one electroconductive polymer preferably having at least one recurring unit of a type of aniline, pyrrole, thiophene or bisthiophene, furan, p-phenylenesulfide, p-phenylenevinylene, indole, an aromatic amide, an aromatic hydrazide, an aromatic azomethine or an aromatic ester in a cosmetically acceptable medium. A method for treating the keratin fiber, preferably a human keratin fiber, specifically the hair is provided, and the composition is used for imparting the optical effect to the keratin fiber. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
