<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide bearing monitoring device capable of being used for both of a journal bearing and a thrust bearing without distinction, and easily grasping a condition of an oil film even in a slide bearing having a lining made out of a resin material of poor heat conduction. <P>SOLUTION: In this monitoring device, the slide bearing 1 is constituted to have the lining 1 on an inner peripheral face of a back metal 10. Temperature sensors 22a, 22b, 22c are buried inside of the lining 11 with various depths. In this monitoring device, a temperature measurement data of the temperature sensors are collected in an analyzing device 40 and analyzed to determine a temperature gradient, and a temperature of the oil film is known by applying the temperature gradient to a position of the oil film. Here, the temperature sensors 22a, 22b, 22c are aligned and arranged in the normal direction of a bearing surface, and they may be successively shifted from each other in the direction orthogonal to the rotating direction of a shaft 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
