<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent frequent occurrences of power supply interruption caused by alternating current switching, by making it difficult to detect voltage anomalies during normal operation, taking a load factor into account. <P>SOLUTION: An uninterruptible power supply is provided with: an alternating-current switch 5 that connects and disconnects alternating-current power inputted from a commercial power supply 6; a storage battery 3; a power converter 1; and a load device 4. The uninterruptible power supply is provided with an output alternating-current voltage detecting means T2, and an anomaly detection circuit 14 that, if the output alternating-current voltage value exceeds a preset upper limit or lower limit value, detects it. Based on a signal detected at the anomaly detection circuit, the alternating-current switch is interrupted. The uninterruptible power supply is also provided with a reset circuit 11. When the alternating-current voltage value, detected by an input alternating-current voltage detecting means T1, exceeds at least the lower limit alternating-current voltage value set according to the load factor computed by a load factor computation circuit 12, the reset circuit outputs a reset signal. Based on the reset signal outputted from the reset circuit, the alternating-current switch is brought into conduction and reset. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
