<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing material for solar cell module with which a solar cell module that has improved appearance, by adjusting the interval between cell string rows can be manufactured inexpensively by easily and highly workably preventing the movement of the cell strings during lamination, and to provide a method of manufacturing solar cell module using the sealing medium. <P>SOLUTION: A solar cell element is crimped by means of a pair of sheet-like sealing materials for solar cell module from the light-receiving surface side and rear surface side of the element and the sealing materials are integrated with the element by heating and pressuring the media under reduced pressure.
