<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high pressure plunger pump wherein bending stress acting on a crankshaft is reduced even for large output specifications, the crankshaft has a long service life, and it is not necessary to divide the casing of the plunger pump into three parts, thus allowing construction that facilitates assembling work. <P>SOLUTION: The high pressure plunger pump 10 comprises the casing 1, a pinion shaft 4, the crankshaft 5, and connecting rods 6 and plungers 8 constructed to allow reciprocative motion by the rotation of the crankshaft 5. The crankshaft 5 is rotatably supported approximately at its mid-portion by a bearing 5c. With three points of the crankshaft 5 supported by bearings 5a, 5b, and 5c, and with the outer race of the bearing 5a which supports one end of the crankshaft 5 held by a bearing cover 2a, the crankshaft 5 can be pulled out to the outside through a first opening part in the high pressure plunger pump. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
