PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastomer film excellent in transparency, mechanical property, heat resistance, impact resistance and coloring property and to provide a process for preparation of the same. SOLUTION: The elastomer material is obtained by kneading a polar group-modified olefin-based copolymer containing each of ethylene, propylene and 8-methyl-8-carboxy-tetra cyclo [4. 4. 0. 1<SP>2,5</SP>.1<SP>7,10</SP>]-3-dodecene-originated monomers with tetra n-butoxy zirconium which is a metallic compound, and then granulating and pelletizing. The elastomer film which has an elastomer layer of the above described polar group-modified olefin-based copolymer by crosslinking the olefin-based copolymer by an electrical interaction of the metallic compound through the polar group of the modified olefin-based copolymer, is obtained by press molding the product pellets.
