PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Karaoke scoring apparatus which can arouse aspiration over Karaoke and challenging mind by making a singing person maintain an intention for singing a song to the last while displaying scores in process in the middle of musical performance. SOLUTION: The Karaoke scoring apparatus is disclosed which displays scores by grading skill of singing during musical performance of a Karaoke song and the Karaoke scoring apparatus performs; a grading processing for each section which outputs serially score information with a prescribed mark as a full mark for each grading section in a Karaoke song, an average mark calculating processing which calculates serially the average of score information serially outputted for each grading section, a progress recognizing processing which recognizes already-graded grading sections and non-graded sections in the Karaoke song, an ultimate score calculating processing which calculates serially an ultimate score at song stoppage by considering that score information on the non-graded sections is zero based on the newest average to be calculated serially and a score displaying processing which displays serially the newest average to be calculated serially and the ultimate score at song stoppage.
