PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for playback to solve many problems caused by the prior art. SOLUTION: A method for playing back data in a playback apparatus includes a step for playing back the data stored in a storage device installed in the playback apparatus with a playback acceleration. The playback apparatus includes a storing module for storing data to be played back, an input module for inputting control parameters of playback acceleration for the data to be played back stored in the storing module, and a control module electrically connected to the storing module and the input module for playing back the data stored in the storing module with the playback acceleration according to the control parameters of the playback acceleration received by the input module.
