METHOD AND COMPOSITION FOR REGENERATING HAIR FOLICLE, AND ANIMAL SUPPORTING REGENERATED FOLLICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair follicle-regenerating system that contains activated hair papilla cells and activated epithelial cells at a rate that is suitable for regeneration of hair follicle. SOLUTION: The subject composition for regenerating hair follicles comprises hair papilla cells and epithelial cells, and has a cell number ratio of the hair papilla cells to the epithelial cells of 1/10 to 10/1. In a preferred embodiment, the composition contains hair papilla cells and epithelial cells and is used for regenerating the hair follicles. The composition comprises the epithelial cells and the hair papilla cells. A preparation of the hair papilla cells is obtained by treating a dermal tissue fraction prepared by removing epithelial tissue from dermal tissue with collagen to prepare a cell suspension after killing the hair follicle epithelial cells, then the composition for regenerating hair follicles comprising the hair papilla cells and the epithelial cells at a cell cumber ratio of 1/10 to 10/1 is obtained.
