PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide compact and simple structure for connecting a shaft to a yoke of a universal joint and facilitated in the work in a narrow place. SOLUTION: A nut 15 with a self-lock function is temporarily held on a fastening axis C of a bolt 13 by a temporary holding member 14. The nut 15 is fixed to a cylindrical part 16 inserted into a cylindrical insert hole 16 of a second tub 8. The cylindrical part 16 has a cam part in the peripheral surface thereof and can approach between both the tub parts 7 and 8. The temporary holding member 14 is provided with a connection part 24 for connecting a movable part 19 fixed to the nut 15 to the fixed part 23, and the connection part 24 comprises a curved part 35 curving along a fastening axis C. When screwing the bolt 13, self-lock function of the nut 15 works, and thereafter, the curved part 35 is deformed to loosen degree of the curve, and the nut 15 turns together. The cam part of the cylindrical part 17 pushes the shaft 1 to stop turn of the nut 15, and the bolt 13 is fastened more to pinch the shaft 1 between the tubs 7 and 8 for fixation.
