PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blind having a bar moving and holding device which is stout and simple in structure, can correctly move and hold a plurality of bars in parallel, and can move and hold the movable bars by means of a pair of bar bands. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the blind, the upper bar and the lower movable bars are held by the bar bands which each have accurate width and thickness like a slender toothed belt and have anti-sagging properties. Then the bar bands are wound on a cylindrical body arranged in one of the bars, or the movable bars are moved and held by motion gears arranged in the movable bars. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
