PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap for potable ash trays, capable of expecting improved throwout-suppression effect by using drained beverage cans, and dissolving unpleasantness due to spots or nasty smell causing decrease of carrying rate of portable ash trays. SOLUTION: The cap for potable ash trays has a cap lid 2 at the upper part of a cap body 3 and a female screw part 5 on the inner side thereof so as to be attached to a drained beverage can screw cap type bottle, or the like, wherein the cap lid 2 is opened from a cap lid hooking part 7 so as to cast ashes and cigarette butts into the inside of the screw type bottle through the inside of the cap body 3, and when only the ashes are casted, the ashes are casted into the screwed bottle by using a cigarette ash-casting part 4.
