PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas turbine power generation facilities capable of effectively using gas from a deteriorated gas field or the like and a method for employing the same. SOLUTION: The gas power generation facilities 10 installed in vicinity of the deteriorated gas field or an oil field is provided. In the gas power generation facilities 10, air compressed by a compressor 1 is introduced to a combustor 2 and is burned after being mixed with fuel, a turbine 3 is driven by combustion gas and a generator is driven by power provided by a rotary shaft of the gas turbine 3. A boost compressor 6 is driven by power provided by the rotary shaft of the gas turbine, pressurizes natural gas or accompanying gas and supplies the same as fuel to the combustor 2. Power generation is performed by the gas turbine by using natural gas generated in the deteriorated gas field or accompanying gas generated in the oil field and obtained electricity is supplied to a consuming place.
