NEW PEPTIDE AND ANTITUBERCULOUS VACCINE COMPOSED OF THE SAME PEPTIDE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antituberculous vaccine composed of a peptide corresponding to an epitope of tubercle bacillus by specifying the epitope of tubercle bacillus.

SOLUTION: It was found that a peptide composed of at least eight continuous amino acids from C terminal of amino acid sequence (TLAGKISVV) specifically stimulates T cell (CD8+) and imparts remarkably high IFN-γ amount. Consequently, the peptide composed of at least eight continuous amino acid from C terminal of a specific amino acid sequence (TLAGKISVV) can be used as the antituberculous vaccine.
