<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosetting composition which can be suitably used for a color filter requiring formation of a fine pattern such as a color filter for an image sensor and which has excellent storage stability, and to provide a color filter and its manufacturing method by using the composition. <P>SOLUTION: The photosetting composition contains at least an alkali-soluble resin, dye, polymerizable monomer, photopolymerization initiator, and solvent, and contains at least either an amide-base organic solvent or water by 3 to 30 mass% with respect to the total mass of the structural components.
