<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knock type ball-point pen of a simple structure which eases a knocking impact; inhibits the fall of a ball from the apex of a tip or a phenomenon of ink back-flow; and writes easily without allowing any minute forward/backward movement of the apex of the tip by writing pressure. <P>SOLUTION: In this knock type ball-point pen, a ball-point pen refill which is mounted at the apex of an ink storage cylinder directly storing an ink for a ball-point pen inside, either directly through a ball-point pen tip embracing a ball in a freely rotating manner or by passing through a tip holder, is housed in the barrel. This refill is arranged in a freely sliding fashion by urging the former by a coil spring installed inside the barrel in the barrel rear end direction. In addition, a knock mechanism is provided which projects and retracts the refill from an opening at the apex of the barrel. A first magnet is arranged at the rear end part of the ink storage cylinder in such a way that magnetic poles are opposite to each other in the axial direction. A second magnet is arranged in an intrabarrel position corresponding to the first magnet when the apex of the tip is retracted so that the second magnet makes a repulsion to the first magnet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
